It is well known the more you read the more you learn. That also goes for your vocabulary. The more you read, the more words you are exposed to. And the more you read these words, the better chance they work their way into your everyday vocabulary. This will help with communication, in future situations, maybe a job interview, a meeting, or maybe even just an everyday talk with your family and friends. Reading also helps you with knowing how to write in more of a professional way. This ties into the vocabulary end of reading. The more you read the more words you know and learn how to put those words into context. To add on to that with reading it allows your mind to wander, and imagine the words on the page, or draw a picture of what you are reading.

This week I was gone most of the week, but the days I there we spent a lot of time on our books that we chose from the four choices. During this time focus is key, and it benefits you in the long run. Reading can increase intelligence, dr.seuss once said “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”. He was basically saying the more you read the more you will learn/know, and that will make you smarter in a way. Not only does it increase intelligence, but it also helps brain power, or memory, or energy. Just like running increases your stamina, reading helps your memory. It is also said that reading before you go to bed is one of the best times. For reasons of, it tires you. Where sitting in front of a screen before bed keeps you awake longer and screws up your sleep schedule. During this week we had did a lot with shared leadership. The importance of it, how it applies to the world today, how it applied to the world 30 years ago. We looked at different things from, the obsolete man, to slip of the pen, read the fine print, and signing statements. With both of these it showed how we have to write our new blogs. Well watching the obsolete man it was best to take notes, and watch carefully. The main thing I saw with it was, how the state had all control, with little ideas how to use that control in a manner that would benefit the citizens of the state. They had more concern about if someone had a purpose, and if they had no purpose they were punished to death. Which the librarian tried making a point in no man is obsolete. Learning about signing statements showed that the government might have more power than we think they do. With signing statements giving the president the right to almost like comment on a law, and say he is not going to follow it. Which gives the electorate less power, makes their voices weaker, and their opinions almost not matter. |
